Kristy & Jimmy McNichol guest star on "The Carpenters at Christmas" from 1978 on ABC-TV.

Bell & Howell Super 8 movie camera signals a warning sound when camera is turned on. B&H Manual doesn't mention it.

Part 2 - My Betamovie BMC-110 is having trouble. When I load a videocassette, the videohead rotates and engages the tape, but it won't stay activated. It shortly thereafter disengages. But after a couple of minutes, if I push the record button enough, the tape will stay engaged and the heads will continue to rotate, but the tape is slack and does not advance. Any ideas what could be the problem? Douginfo1 at google mail.

Spelling-Goldberg's "Family" starring Kristy McNichol

Spelling-Goldberg's "Family" starring Kristy McNichol & Sada Thompson. Season 4, Episode #64 "Disco Queen." I love this show, but in my opinion, this is where "Family" jumps the shark. Some may argue that the show jumped the shark when Annie was introduced, and for those people I have edited most of her storyline out of this episode, but when the disco craze of the 70's enters the picture... it's down hill from there. Which is exactly why I am posting this video - it couldn't be more late 70's if it tried.

The trailer from the 1980 film.
